ATTN: Anet, Possible Suggestion to make more money
I think you should sell the exclusive mini pets through your online store for like 5 bucks each.. I mean instead of releasing only 100 pandas to asia, make all of the "rare" mini pets available for online purchase through the GW store. This way we dont have people spamming "WTS mini zhed 100k+350ectos, which clearly only people that have a lot of free time to invest into guild wars can afford or have ebay'd gold.
Sure the market values of the would go down, but who cares? the people that own them are the ones with too much money or extremely lucky in the first place. Mini pets are always nice to have and show off in outposts, im sure it would bring anet in a lot of money if they were sold at a relatively low cost each. I mean who doesnt want a mini panda?
thanks for reading

If ArenaNet does that, customer integrity goes into the toilet due to the reversal of the non-play-to-play philosophy. They will lose millions from the loss of GW2 sales.

im not sure what you're trying to say, i dont undesrtand.. i think you mean "non pay to play".. but you dont HAVE To buy the mini pets, its people that want them can buy them.
I dont see what the difference between adding mini pets to the store would be much different from the pvp skill packs, or the prophecies anniversary edition where you get the bonus weapons. It would be just a feature added onto the store to allow people, should they choose to purchase, to buy what they want instead of spending XXXectos on it

You mean paying money for in game items would ruin everything? *points to the preorders which give you that and the ability to 'upgrade' your prophecies account to get a bunch of items*

Okay. Your post says a few things: -
Your Opinion: People who are wealthy have no life or bought the gold.
Truth: Wealthy people can make gold legitimately with little play time.
Your Opinion: Only the rich people will care.
Truth: Not just rich people care.
You have lots of ignorant views. You have a beef with rich people. Is that because you cant make gold? Ah thats a real shame QQ mwoar plox.
Who doesnt want thousands of ecto? Cause people wont turn down a cheap panda.
Hey why dont we sell items in the store too. As there are loads which cost hundreds of ecto. As gold items arnt game breaking. The list goes on.
This thread fails.
And will be closed soon as it is just going to turn to flame fest and wont really go anywhere.
Reported.

I'd much rather pay ANet xxx amount of money to get my hands on something really nice than pay money to goldsellers.
It would be nice if ANet made minis available to everyone, but only close GW2 release date.

My thread was not intended to make beef with rich people. It was intended to 1) provide anet with another source of income while they dev GW2 and 2)Allow people who arent lucky enough to own an exclusive mini pet to be able to purchase them on the online store, should they choose. So dont get all defensive and throw a hissy fit just because you've accumulated a sizable amount of ectos or exclusive mini pets and are repulsed by the idea.

1. Anet has already stated that they will never follow the path of selling ingame items in their online store(and I've heard what it can do to a game). I don't have a quote from the article, but I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.
2. Wrong forum
But that's just my two cents

I dont own a single rare mini so it wont affect me :P
I dont like people being screwed over due to rediculous ideas.
Anet said they would never sell them so it will never happen.
Just because I disagree with your idea doesnt mean I through a hissy fit. It doesnt affect me and will never affect me.

What Zinger is trying to say is that it would be such an unpopular decision that it would loose ANet a lot of money from people that will decide not to buy GW2 because of this decision.
If they add minipets to the store, why not armor, weapons, titles, ectos, money, or anything like that?

Like i said, i haven't read the PCGAMER GW edition yet because none of my stores in my area have them on shelf yet. I didnt know about their strong stance against selling mini pets through the stores.
Mods just close this thread please
